This section contains the documentation for the entities of the Anjana Data Platform: the governed objects that make up the organization's asset inventory and to which data governance processes are applied. Each entity has its own metadata, defined through its template, and can be related to other entities to represent the full context of the data.
Anjana Data distinguishes between native entities, provided by the platform with predefined semantics, and non-native entities, which each organization defines according to its needs (business terms, reports, schemas, etc.).
The pages under this section describe each entity type in detail, its primary key (PK), its attributes, and the various screens of its detail view:
-
Dataset, a set of data (structured or unstructured) that constitutes one of the main technical assets of the Catalog.
-
Dataset_field, each of the fields that make up a dataset.
-
DSA (Data Sharing Agreement), a data usage agreement that groups entities and governs the request and granting of access to them.
-
Process, a process that operates on data (for example, transformation or movement).
-
Process instance, a specific execution of a process.
-
Solution, an entity that groups and gives context to a set of related assets.
-
Non-native entity (term, report, schema…), entities defined by each organization to represent concepts from the Business Glossary or assets from the Data Catalog according to their needs.
This section is primarily aimed at users who create, govern, or query assets in the Catalog and the Marketplace.
